I have just responded to a discussion that talks about PTC business. The poster says that paid to click sites usually pay from $0.001 to $0.05 but if one site that pays above $0.01, it could be a scam. There are links that can be found in his/her profile page if one wants to earn from PTC's (so there goes the referral link, at least not in the discussion area)
But what I told in my response, "Is it really worth of our time and money, if we will invest in PTC's?" They said that in PTC's, to earn more we should have a referral or referrals that will help us earn more. But is it really worth?
If you wish to earn more extra money and fast, will you just click with time?
Or is there really more than clicking? I mean, will you click or will you type?
Well, as for now, I will remain typing for money. I will keep on mylotting, but if there are some other source of extra money you can suggest, I will add it to my typing for money business but no clicks?

Hello there! By typing are you referring to PixProfit? I do that too at my spare time, I think it's a faster way to earn bucks compared to PTC sites since I don't have any direct referrals yet. Well, just like previous responder I am doing both at the moment. I am a member of NeoBux, so I earn a couple of cents there and I am also active at myLot. The thing I like about myLot is that earnings there are not limited. I do both and to be honest i like doing both and the way i look at it is when there is not much i am able to respond to on here i go to the ptc sites that i belong to and i do them as they say every penny helps and it is great when they all payout at the same time as well.There are other types of sites that i do as well like read emails look at ads as well as the usual survey sites and yes it keeps me busy,but i do not have to go on them all in the same day. I'd rather type, for sure. But honestly, as what I am doing now, I can do both. PTC is a slow process and it's not easy to refer active users. Regarding PTC, I want to be keen as much as possible, I prefer those low minimum payouts and those who have been working for quite a long year, maybe 1 or 2 years and above. I still do PTC's but I just maintained those who have been paying me constantly. New PTC programs is not worth the time. I have invested on PTCBUX, matrixmails and clixsense. I had to upgrade my account in matrixmails to gold lifetime and I already earned more than 100% of I invested but it took some time but it was worth it. If you don't want to do clicks though, I suggest you try odesk.com. You can do data-entry jobs. Just make sure that the employer has a high rating so that you know if they will pay you or not. Typing seems to be worth more and its good to know that my opinions are worth something. That's important to me to know that what I say has value especially cash value. I think it helps with my self-confidence to to be able to speak my mind. Though in real life I'm not as easily outspoken like I am online so probably not. I do ptc sites and they are worth it to me. I am a member of 2 sites that pay more than a penny a click, and they do pay. All the other sites are lower paying, but I have been paid by them a few times, and as long as they will pay, I will click for them. One never knows when you join sites if they are going to be legit or not. I feel that as long as they are free, and I don't have to invest in them unless i want to, then I will continue doing them, as I have beenscammed before, and it didn't feel good, so doing free sites and getting paid is reall ideal. I do use PTC sites, and myLot. But if they offer high payments per click, I can't see how it can work. On most sites, due to the recession, advertising revenue is way down from where it used to be, so they can't afford to pay so much as they used to. I can accept this and keep clicking on the ads anyway. Sometimes the ads are useful to me, and I will take a closer look. But as I'm on line anyway, I might as well click away.. happy_Derek [derek_a]
well, i see the point of clicking by the way you responded. if you got online, you click those ads and even if they pay low and slower, they still are earnings that if they are huge in number, they will still add up to make cash. and yes, there are still ads that are useful in our lives. [neildc]
I have done all sorts of things.. I do writing here in mylot.. and I generally stayed away from the clicking.. but recently I was told about a new site.. and they pay $.03 per click so I joined and I earned over $3 in 3 days and I was paid right away.. they have since raised their minimum back up to $15 (they had lowered it for a week only - I got lucky) But even then.. I should be able to make almost $30 a month if I get the same amount of clicks daily.. that's not too bad.. Better than writing... here... but I will continue on with mylot.. for now. :-) [minx267]

Well, I do both, but you are right in saying that PTC pays extremely little, but for the amount of effort that you put into it, I think that's just fair, it won't even take you 5 minutes to click on the links per day.. so I guess that's why the pay is so small. Hi Neil No I won't click as I don't see any value in it, anybody can click and that feels too much like factory assembly work. there is nothing wrong with that type of work, but my preference is not to come home and start clicking for cash - just seems a little brainless (sorry, just MHO...lol) As for typing, well yes I will and do - paid to blog has been big for me over the last few years and there are still some remaining programs that pay enough to make it worth while. I will click,but only in correct sites. The most are incorrect,or not paying,or not active. First I will check the site and then I will click. As of now, I have a few PTC sites that I joined recently. I've been paid by some of them. Clicking doesn't really bother me because I am also doing some typing, like right now, while doing some clicking.Plus, Clicking doesn't take up so much of my time. unlike typing (either posting a discussion/response here in Mylot or writing an article in other websites). Well if you are interested in doing typing jobs then you can check your typing speed at pixprofit---its an captcha site which pays a dollar for every thousand entries you type in.they pay you through paypal and minimum payout is $3.so you can easily make $3 each day infact there are many doing this and then you can try traffic exchangers which pay you according to the sites you surf---briefly they would be offering you 30-40 censt for every 1000 sites you surf but its too tiring.you can also try some networking sites which are paying.if you're interested then you can check my blog for that only site i use apart from mylot.great day. There are also many other great ways to earn online. It seems that everyone wants to focus on ptcs. Yes, you can earn from some of the legit ptcs. You got a point about PTC's, it really is a time killer. Ever since January I got into PTC's and myLotting. I got addicted with PTC's because I'm so bored at home and my friend introduced myLot and I got addicted as well. I just started working again last Monday and I don't have time for PTC's and myLot. I still like PTC's but nothing beats typing. Once I get the hang of my new job and I can manage my time again its going to be more on myLot and blogging. PTC's would just be an icebreaker. [nicavia]

I have tried both the PTC and the PTR sites in an effort to make some extra cash. While I have found some sites that do pay, the problem I found is that it takes too much time in order to click enough to earn only a penny. And with many sites with minimum payouts of either a few dollars or more, you would have to click nonstop or have one heck of a downline clicking for you in order to make any money. I'd stick with mylot as you can earn more in a shorter amount of time than clicking on one link. ? [smokeywins]

another sure way of typing for money is via blogs... there are a lot of writing sites that pay better than click sites... all you have to do is search and check them out... and the topics are broad and wide, you can always have a topic to write about... and a good content generates a good payback, so i heard and read about... Both typing and clicking for money works for me. I do mylot for the typing and when i get bored i switch to PTC to pass my time. I usually spend my time on line with mylot but it's not everyday that i have the motivation to post. There are times that i just go through the discussion and never post a thing. That's where my PTC site comes handy since i still earn even if i don't post anything on mylot. I did try to subscribe to some of the pay to post website that i found our from other members but it seems that i never get the hang of the site and leave it eventually. Currently i have 2 PTC site that i'm active clicking ads on and so far i have no complaints since i had been paid 3 times on one of the the sites. Hi neil!^^ For me, I currently do both.^^ Aside from myLot, I also do PTC sites. I'm currently a member of three PTC sites. But I don't have any referrals so it's really slow to earn money with it. Unlike with myLot. You can answer a few discussions and you'll earn more than four cents a day (Four cents is the regular amount I earn in one site per day). And another bad thing in the two PTC sites which I'm a member of, I don't know when to check if there are ads available to be clicked. So that's make it really slow to earn there. So you'll probably ask, why am I sticking with it? Well, it's not a lot of a bother to visit the sites and click on the ads. I can visit the sites (whenever I remember to) while I'm surfing the net and I'm okay with waiting because I'm not in a hurry to reach the pay-out. Hiya Neil I prefer to type and be active here in MyLot. I've always found ptc boring, but it earns a little extra money. It was exciting at first when I used to see all these new sites for making extra money and I would join but found most of them turned out to be scams and I was seeing the same ads over and over again. Here in MyLot you can get paid to discuss things like that and make friends and have fun. With ptc sites now there seems to be more pressure on (with some of them) to upgrade and be active on the forums. I do both. I don't spend very much time with PTC but there are a couple of sites I'm still active in and I earn a few extra dollars per month with it. You can make more money with other things though, one being writing. If you consider the time you put in, MyLot and PTC are probably comparable in what you earn for the time invested. MyLot has many other advantages though as posting to discussions is much more interesting than just clicking links. Probably more educational too! [millertime]
