Dont want to come across as begging. Or whining. But my unemployment will be running out soon and hubby has told me i need to find a job. I dont not want to go back out into the auto business as i did it for over 18 yrs. I really just want to stay home and something from home, i have for months been looking online for something. I already am a cha cha guide, i have a online store that has not done any business. I really would like to know with all the members here what i can do to find something. Sorry if this sounds like begging or anything like that. I dont mean it to.

I totally know where you're coming from! I too am on unemployement, and am desperately trying to find some reliable home business to stay at home. I was thinking of starting my business (gift baskets, maybe you've read the thread on that) but i realize i will need more money than i have available for that to happen. I've tried many businesses at home, such as SFI, Free Store Club, TMI wireless, Country Cajun, etc. but none have yet given me any money whatsoever, and it's been months! If you do come up with something, plz let me know, and i will do the same for you! Good luck to you in your search! [jewel76]
i will do that. thanks for the response. i am going to send you a message. [beckyomg1]
It doesn't sound like begging at all. It sounds as if you really want to find something. There are some real work at home opportunities out there, it's just a matter of finding them. You're no doubt going to be inundated with links to programs that will give you a little bit of cash here and there, and while they may work for some - I believe you're a lot better off setting something up for yourself than you will ever be joining program after program. I took a quick look at your store - I'm not sure how much traffic etc you get to it but there are many ways you can work on bringing more people to it - you could try using that as a basis for other sites - branch out into other things that are related. Or you could set up something totally different. I have a few websites and blogs that I've added several income streams too - and while I'm not making a fortune (yet) they are increasing. No matter what you try - make sure you research it thoroughly, if it's a program of some sort - check that it offers the support you need etc. [re08dz]
have added you as a friend to be able to message you. thanks for all the help again. [beckyomg1]
i am very sorry i wish i could help but the best i have is smc (clicksmc.com) it is a start your own bis. i see you have done that already but from reading your not getting the traffic you need so maybe if you tryed to put the site on free ad pages. Maybe you have already done that . sorry i could not help you more. [aretha]
i will check out the link, but i already am a member of smc but that is not the link that i use. [beckyomg1]
Even if you're not a mother, this is a good site to try: Clubmom.com They have a message board on there for work-at-home jobs and there's quite a few good ones. One of the ones you might want to do is the call center ones where you use your home phone and the computer to take calls for businesses. I'd try it myself but you need a quiet work area and with a crazy 18month old boy that's never going to happen around here lol. Good luck though! [msmonkeyfeet]
thanks i will look again at clubmom. have not been there in a bit. i have tried signing up for call centers but have had no sucess in getting hired. i am just trying to look at all my avenues. thanks for all the help [beckyomg1]
It's not begging, they call it "networking". What are you interested in doing? It would be ideal if you could do something you like. I found a website for tons of government jobs in your state. I wish you luck. www.usajobs.opm.gov [bonbon664]
im almost willing for anything right now, from data entry to typing to call center to things of that nature. just dont want to find one that i have to invest you know . dont have the funds to do that and most of them are scams. [beckyomg1]
Hmmm, maybe try doing your online store from www.ebay.com as I think it may be better business for you that way instead of a web page of your own etc. I applied for over 200 jobs before i got the one I have now. It may be hard, but you need to keep your chin up and continue to look. Is it really that important to work from home?? What about a secretarial job, or something in an office like that? [signum]
I know there are so many wanted to work at home, but that is really what i would like to do. Can i ask where you work now and is it from home? [beckyomg1]
Becky, you're not begging, so don't even worry about that. I wish that I had some good ideas for you to work at home, but I am so new to this myself. Actually I started doing these little things to make some extra money because I have also been unemployed for 7 months and I needed to keep busy. I have learned a lot, but one of the major things that I have learned is that it takes a long time and a lot of hard work to really make money online. I read through the responses here, and there are some really great ones for you to consider. Hopefully your husband will agree to let you try to make a go of things at home for another few months, while you've got the momentum. Once you return to work you won't have the time to devote to learning what you need to learn. Have you considered writing articles or submitting articles that you've written for your blogs? I use Helium, which doesn't pay too much, but it gets links back to your blogs and store: http://www.helium.com/ You can also submit to Associated Content, which pays much better. I have been paid almost $300 for articles that I've submitted. They pay between $3 and $20 per article, depending on the topic and content; all articles have to be a minimum of 400 words: http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html You might also want to sign up for Blogsvertise, which assigns you tasks to write for their advertisers and pays you when you publish them in your blog: http://www.blogsvertise.com/ These are some of the ways that I have made some extra money and tried to get traffic to my blogs. Good Luck! I hope it all works out for you. [lauriefnp]
I do have a job service that will send local area listings to you in your email, it's free and you will also recieve some work at home offers as well... Go here, it take two minutes to signup and you'll start to see offers coming in your email in about a day or so! http://www.tinyurl.com/profk Best Of Luck... [peaceful]
thanks i will do that. [beckyomg1]
If you find anything on line let me know as I dont want to go back out myself. am still looking. [mirage108]
Oh you know that i will. I would not let you down. thanks. [beckyomg1]
Well I am in the same boat. I am looking for something that works for me. I am doing something right now but it is not working for me. Maybe it will work for you. Chat4money.net. Now it is an adult chat site with some nude pics and so forth but if you know sales being in the car business and don't have a problem with making this work and looking at the pics than you will do fine. I am having a hard time because I don't sell and I have no idea what to say to these people to get them to sign up and see the product. Let me know if you try. Free to sign up and potential income is endless. If you do sign up and become an affiliate and you get it down. Please let me know how to pitch it or some ideas to help me out because the money is there I just can't don't have ideas. If you have any questions about it let me know also. [sirora]
Ok i will let youknow. thanks. [beckyomg1]
There is nothing wrong with asking and you should not think of it as sounding like begging. Personally I had the same result with the on line store operation. There are very few that make this work for them. And with out a lot of traffic and sales you are bound to fail. I recently started a little online venture again and so far its working. I'm not at the point I wanted to be but its paying and I have not had to pay for some useless program. It doesn't take any startup money and I'm using free ads. It's working for me. [livingtwist]
can i ask what your using? thanks [beckyomg1]

The biggest part of having a home business is knowing how to do your paperwork properly so you can maximize your tax deductions, this will help you establish your business. I personally emjoy working with Fortune Hi Tech Marketing. If you would like to check it out let me know. What is a cha cha guide? [msbyte]

Hi beckyomg1, I am looking to fulfill 100 positions this month. Go to http://chrisblanks.simpleasabc.com/100 if you are looking to make additional $200-$500 a week starting now. [chrisblanks]
and what are the set up fees and what do i need to do? [beckyomg1]
Somebody already mentioned Associatedcontent. So I will just say yes it pays and pays quickly. [Randync]
Thank i will have to really look into that one. [beckyomg1]
That is not beggin at all, it is being honest. It is very hard to make a living online, but there are many ways to make extra money. Have you ever considered starting your own business not just online but outside the home? Or you could always babysit, that is at home and it keeps you at home. I want to stay home too, but there is really no way to do that. I know some chacha guides are making very good, but probably not enough to quit their job right now. [wmg2006]
Yeah what i am making on cha cha is not enough yet, its a great extra. I would love to have my own business but trying to find money to do that is hard, i have been looking into the whole grant thing but that also takes alot of time. It just really gets frustrating sometimes. [beckyomg1]
I have always wanted to sell some of my crafts (candles, ballet skirts, etc) at craft shows and bazaars. If you are crafty, that might be a way to make a full-time income. I have a friend who makes Jewelry and sells at flea markets, bazaars and craft shows and has made as much as $3000 in a weekend. While you would have to be out of the house for the shows, you could work on building your inventory at home. Also, if you are into crafting, you could market your item(s) to locally owned businesses. One idea that I have had is to work on consignment selling my handmade hairbows. It might not bring a huge income immediately, but it will eventually start to take off. I currently sell at online auctions and mystery shop. With the auctions, my income is only limited by the time I have to list my items. In mystery shopping, I used to make enough each month to pay my rent (when I had an apartment). It took about a year to get up to that amount as you would have to start small and prove yourself, but it does eventually pay off. [bam001]
I would love to do the crafting but i think i would have to do it for someone, have heard of a couple places but not sure where else to look. [beckyomg1]
I can see that you have already reached 2691 posts and with a rating lf 10. You must be earning a lot from here so all you can do is have more and more sites that pay. There are many sites offering big payout reading e-mails, anwering surveys which you could also try on a full-time basis. Getting a job with an 8 to 5 schedule may not be paying you that much. I know a lot of people who only work online and are now earning substantial amount from their income here. My daughter's site www.cute-spot.com is giving her good income on a monthly basis. See if you can also do that. In fact she is supporting the whole family from what she's earning from Google. I want you to visit her site and see what you can do to also have a site like hers. Who knows? You might be able to get a good start there. Good luck! [funny52f]
How did she get that type of site? would love to know [beckyomg1]
I have not found any thing on the net to make decent money. If you need full time pay, I would suggest going to www.craigslist.com and look up jobs in your area. If part time will do and you like babies, I have a fun part time job taking pics of the newborn babies in the hospital. Go to: www.growingfamily.com to apply. Good luck! [perrytx]
i will check out your link. thanks so much for all the suggestions. so apprecaited. [beckyomg1]
I'm sorry about not finding work. I have been looking for a part time job for over a month. Times are tough or at least for those I am looking for. Although ALL those places are hiring! As for a homebusiness I'm not too good with that so far but my dad is always getting into businesses and giving up I might add. Keep your eyes open and I'm sure if you keep looking something to do at home will come around. Sorry again and best of luck! You can keep us posted for sure! :)) [monkeywriter]
I assume you don't want to be working in an office. There are lots of work at home jobs. If you have skills such as telemarketing, writing, web development, you can surely get one. Also, I believe there are certain jobs which allow their employees to work at home like if your work involves only paper work and no client interactions. [charmedguyp1]
I am sorry that you are having quite a difficult time right now. I can see that everything is not okay as far as having a means of livelihood is concerned. I also think that you want a work that you can do online. If this is so, then you can try online writing gigs like doing researches and essays on the internet. I think this can help you earn some decent dollars. [ernst111]
ok i will help u if u came nepal .. wait u ways [bhimsensth]
hey bro dont be sorry. I understand what you have gone tru as myself were in this situation right this very moment. Its hard I know but we gotta to go our life, I mean we do this not because of ourself but for our love ones around us right? So hang in there bro, you'll find one job that suits your best. Well since you are into online marketing, let just share with you this info. How I made over $3,000 in just 7 days by selling 30 pages report for $7. http://tinyurl.com/ytck8a Good luck my friend :) [kezotang]
I'm 18, and I'm also looking for a job. I'm taking a year or so off from college, so a job is definitely needed. I don't have a degree, but I do have a diploma. I don't want to work with food, so Mc Donalds isn't for me. It's been hell trying to find a place. So, good luck. [Hockey_85]
If you really want to stay at home and work on the internet, why don't you try online investing? I stay at home also & am doing pretty good with online paypal/egold investing...start out as small as you like...it builds up...pm me if you want we can talk more if you like. Good luck! :) [paradisesuns]

While you are working in Adsense why don't you try working as medical transcriptionist there is a free training online just visit www.medical-transcription1.com and you will earn big money. [arwenrey]
I will look into that thank you. [beckyomg1]
Have you thought about doing something like some big time selling on ebay? Hit the local used stores, garage sales (obviously in season) and household sales and auctions to gather enough stuff to start putting online. I have a good friend that makes a decent amount of money doing this and can put the hours in around her kids. Also, I'll send you a personal message about what I do and how it helps me out financially. I don't post here because I don't want the company that I work for bombarded and it does take a special talent. Good luck. I hope you can find something to keep you at home. [hockeygal4ever]
thanks please do, everything is so appreciated. [beckyomg1]
I suppose first you need to ask yourself is what you really want. And I bet you want to stay home so best is to reevaluate your earnings you make from home and from that auto business. If there is little difference then staying home is good because it is your desire. However, if there is much difference, you have to consider this carefully. Talk to your husband on how you two can adjust to this situation. [Lana_Lang]
Post a resume on monster.com, careerbuilders.com, jobing.com and other such websites. I have found 2 jobs by doing this and both were good paying. [donzee]
is it something from home? or is it outside the home? Just wondering. Thanks for the response. [beckyomg1]
why dont you try to start tiffin service for those who cannot do it?..i mean people appreciate home food than ourside food at work.and it pays well [rahuldmhatre]
