It's not just myLot, either. There are a lot of survey sites that pay really well! I've earned so much from myLot and my survey sites that I can have a really nice Christmas this year. I've been buying gas from my online earnings and so much more!
I just had my highest payout EVER from myLot! I'm thrilled beyond words. Well, okay, not quite THAT thrilled... I can always find words. LOL
I just recently paid for my son's bus ticket from New York to Virginia AND the gas to go pick him up to deliver him to his brother's house. That was all done with money I earned online.
I guess what I'm really trying to say is that I REALLY love getting paid for my thoughts and ideas. I always said that, if I could find a job that paid me for talking, it would be the perfect job for me.

I have no objection to it or I wouldn't be here as well. My myLot earnings pay for books and E Bay purchases. I usually make payout but that is certainly not what drives me. Many of my friends are folk that don't come here much if at all now and so we "chat" by E mail, Skype, IM etc. I love them wherever they are and don't need paying to speak to them. That said, I also love to meet up with folk here and I enjoy many of the discussions. I'd like to say that I don't respond to discussions about payment - but, er, that's just what I am doing. LOL. Hi smiraki, you don't get paid a lot of money, but you do get paid! If you make at least $10.00 every month, you'll get paid every month. The more you write here, the more you'll get paid. There's really no set amount for anything, though. It depends on the length of your posts as well as the content and, of course, the amount of posts you make. You'll see your earnings updated every day. These guys are very legit! They pay what they say they'll pay. Just be careful about following the rules and guidelines and you'll do fine. Welcome aboard! I feel exactly the same way. If they stopped paying, I'd still continue to come here every day that I could. There's just so much more to myLot than earning some pocket change! Among all the obvious benefits, I'm keeping my brain active! You hear so much about the aging brain and the need to keep it stimulated and I've found that myLot provides that! I'm always looking things up before I respond and sometimes even before I post a discussion. I'm about to begin a new venture in online earning, but this will take a bit of work. I've designed a website and am getting ready to go online with it. I'll be selling hand-made things of quality. So far, I've contracted with a few folks who make some very nice hand-made items. I make my own, too, but wanted to give people another outlet to sell their creations. But getting paid to talk (okay, type) is right up my alley! So far the other online money making sites I became a member of would usually shut down just as they had to pay me. I'm also very unfortunate when it comes to survey sites too because most survey sites only pay through paypal (which my country does not have) and alot of survey sites do not have surveys for people from my country. So I think this is one of the disadvantages I face. That's why I concentrate on myLot and am trying very hard to build up a good referral team here so I can make a comfortable amount of money on a monthly basis. No. Getting paid to talk is okay, but it's definitely no job and it's not worth the pennies I get paid here to spend hours and hours. I do come from time to time to see what's going on, but it's not taht much. Name me a survey site, or a few, that actually pay in real cash and pay a decent amount without making you jump through hoops. I've only seen two good ones, one that pays cash but discriminated against me due to my visual impairment. The other doesn't pay in cash, but does have restaurant Gift Cards and stuff, but it takes way too long to rack up what it takes to get the gift cards. Still, I have gotten two different gift cards form them but I don't do them anymore because it just takes up too much time. Then there is Survey Savvy, which I get a couple surveys a month from at between $2 and $5, but I NEVER qualify. Then they say i'm entered into their drawing, which I doubt anyone wins, it's probably just a marketing ploy. Someone told me esearch, but I never heard from them. So, if you can name me just one genuine paying survey site, I will try it out. Ones I have tried before are American consumer opinion, greenfield, harrispoll, and others. Hi bbydollz and welcome to myLot! You won't make a lot of money here, but you can make a decent amount of extra cash! You need to post interesting discussions so they'll get a lot of responses... things that a lot of people would want to respond to. Also, your responses should be 4 or 5 sentences long, at least. Detailed responses pay the most. ALWAYS use tag words! It helps the posts you've started or responded to get noticed if someone does a search for certain words. The more the merrier, too! Post as many discussions or responses as you can. I typically do around 10 posts a day and earn about $20.00 a month. Once you are able to post pictures with your responses (I believe you can do that once you've reached 100 posts) do so whenever possible. If people leave comments on your photos, you get paid. To sum it up, be articulate, detailed and follow the guidelines. Post as much as you can and always use tag words. Add people to your friend's list and make sure you change the "notify is off" to "notify is on" right next to their avatar in your friends page just by clicking on it. I do agree with you and getting paid for talking is not impossible already for this time for there is a lot of company that they are willing to pay us for we are taking a lot like Receptionist and a company for the telephone company in which they are get paid by talking a lot and here in MyLot I felt so great also because I could open my ideas in any way that I want and nobody would tell me that I am wrong.....
