There are many advertisements about online surveys, that one can make lots of money taking online surveys right from home. I had joined a few of those programs, but so far, quite disappointing. I have not made any money at all from taking the surveys. Every time, about half-way through the survey, the message would come up saying that I am not elligible. Just waste of time. How about you ? Have you joined any of the programs ? Do you earn taking the online surveys ?

Yes I have joined lots of survey companies, and I haven't made any money off of them either, but there is this one survey company, it pays even if you don't make the survey,but it's by invitation only, the company is called e-rewards and their sponsors have to give you, a invitation to get on the web site, you can't just sign up, I have tried it and I was rejected, I contacted one of the sponsors, and I haven't heard anything yet.sadthumbdownthumbdown [notlistening2]

I have joined a few survey sites and did complete a few but you have to reach a certain payout to be able to cashout. I have not done that very often. I do have one survey website that has pay me but it takes lots of surverys to reach the payout amount. [happy6162]
yes, but after many disappointments - I found only one site is worth it. Pinecone research. they pay me $3 per survey. and they never tell me I don't qualify after filling out 15 minutes of the survey. [minx267]
well, that is whee it is complicated.. 1) they don't do referrals- they will place banners up on many sites when they are looking for more people. and 2) I think they are only open for the US. :( I am not positive of that though. Sounds like you have taken those OTX surveys. Are those the ones you are talking about? I hate those things! Yes, I am able to make some money through survey sites. It's not fast cash like so many people want. But over a couple of months I earn a nice little sum for really not spending much time on it. Hey greenline! I have tried taking online surveys in the past and the same thing happened to me! I never made one cent from them! I also spent alot of time on them and never got anywhere! One survey let to another and then participation where you had to purchase something and it all was always ending up as nothing but a scam as far as I could tell! I belong to an online Australian survey group. It is excellent. They pay people via gift cards. There are a variety to choose from and I always choose the Coles/ Target one. I have earned at least 8, $20 gift casrds over the past two years. Any other online survey site I have fiund, does not include Aussies. [jennybianca]

Hi, there. online surveys are little bit hard to earn. The minimum payouts is high and the chances of being invited to take the survey is low. I've been invited several times but after 10-15 minutes of answering the questions it turned out that I was not qualified for the study. GRrrrr! I have joined a few of these survey sites, but there's only one that I have really earned from in the form of grocery vouchers - and they really did come in very handy. I have also earned from something quite like a survey site - it was an online consumer panel, and i earned near enough to 100 dollars for one hour's consultation about credit cards. That was just a one off though. I think if you do look hard enough, you can find some legitimate and well paying survey sites - but in reality, the majority of them are very flaky! [sunlight2009]

I am also like you green line, but the only difference is, as soon as I start the survey after telling them my age and nationality there is a message, stating that I am not eligible for the surveys. In some surveys they say that it is not in your area. Everyday I get about 3 to 4 mails regarding surveys, but always never finished even a single one. you are right greenline! i have just received it too today from globaltest market and i started the survey but alas couldn't make it even just halfwaythumbdown i remember signing up for that survey site before and they took all the information so i think they should know it in the first place if we are qualified or not before sending that email. it's ridiculous starting the survey and then it'll says we are unqualified after answering few questions. i wonder what should we answer on such questions given on the first part to be qualified..we are just being honest and the honesty doesn't always paid offsad [Lucky09]

No I don't. I had been members of two global online survey sites but apart from my meager joining bonus, I did not get paid as I could not complete any survey. While joining, both the survey sites mentioned themselves as global and invited members from all nations but after that once when the surveys stated coming in, I was not qualified for any of them. Hi greenline, I have been lost my more times to find the best survey sites because I work with some survey sites and after that I got it is scammed so many of the survey sites are scammed(I am not telling all of the) but after that I changed my mind and go to ptc sites then the interesting thing is that same situation was here also scammed but after the use of more ptc sites finally I got my payment in my PayPal and Alertpay account so the sites from which I have been paid out then I keep it and the sites which was scammed removed so the present time I have 6 to 7 appr. trusted sites which is 100% pays and due to the more referrals my earning is also good. I do surveys. I stay away from OTX surveys they never pan out. I have about 20 sites. Most are points that you cash in for gift cards. Some do pay per survey. I do pretty good. [Thoroughrob]

I've been doing surveys for years, don't make an awful lot of money, but do earn some. A couple of them have draws rather than payment and I've won twice on them, one was $500 so I've come out alright so far. It would be nice if there was one that you work at home business just doing surveys and you don't have to pay anything besides doing surveys but other things. You know it's really hard to find a job nowadays. Many look where there's a lot of money to win or at least help you with the bills. Don't you think? Yes, I am very disappointed with several too sure know how you feel. Many of them you have to pay the trial to receive money but its not compared the amount you have to pay but I just usually unsubscribe on those. I don't waste my time on those but I have found some cool sites to win money and prizes. LoL...yeah it happens to all of us that some reason that were not eligible but it happens. The computer has its reasons and also depends how many surveys you've already done or might've been a question they asked and that's not what they wanted for an answer so in the end they end up saying that. Hi friend.Another good discussion created.I am sharing my own experience here regarding this discussion.I had got an e-mail few months back in this context.I registered by paying $10.They give me id and password and also a list of 105 survey sites.They says that you had to registered with all of them.so i started to register one by one and in a month i registered with all companies.I had tried to my level best but get nothing in return.Yes friends nothing in return.They are a big scams.I had wasted many hours in taking surveys but till date i get nothing.I am not able to qualify for the survey.The companies send me surveys which are between $1-$50.But the main thing is that you cannot qualify for these surveys and you will get nothing in return.They follow certain criteria in this context.Truly speaking i had not earned nothing.I had registered in survey companies like Corpscan,Survey head and many more like that.I was able to qualify in certain surveys but unfortunately i didn't reach the minimum payout.I was very sad and from that point i stop participating in these surveys.These companies really make it difficult to qualify the individuals for the surveys.So i personally advised to my friends to not waste their money in these survey sites.Rather invest in some profitable websites from where you earn some bucks.Best of luck. I recently heard of Pinecone and looked them up they are available in the us only you can register and then wait for an email from them telling you if they are looking for people in your area. The only other survey group that I know that doesn't have a payout limit and pays weekly is dollar survey but just like the others you don't qualify often, but I can say you take a survey with them. I agree. There are a lot of online paid surveys however they pay really low and those that entice you to join because they pay high, always (in my experience) are scams. I have tried a lot of sites and end up disappointing myself for falling into their crap. Wasted time can never be returned. I realized that earning online through paid to click or surveys can never sustain my daily needs. It's a good way to earn extra cash, but to rely on those alone is not a good idea. Taking online surveys is very persuasive because they present you with plans on how you can earn big. Unfortunately, things are not as good as they seem. I have spent lots of dedication to all survey websites I have used and have sadly not recieved a penny. When I would contact them or ask for support I would recieve no reply and they make me feel as if I was nothing and of no importance to them. I had over $200 that I should have recieved but nothing ever came to me. I do take online surverys for a couple of websites. I had a dry speel to and hated to be half way through and not be eligible. Then I went through a time when I was doing very well with a site or two. I just don't like the ones for sweepstakes entries. I usually don't take those. [JenInTN]

I do not participate in any of those online survey sites that pay as I am not all that trusting of them. I do however do online surveys through a reputable company here in Australia. They have been collecting information on behalf of government agencies and large companies for as long as I can remember and now they do it online. They do not pay in cash, but you get reward points, which you can swap for certain items like gift vouchers for popular stores, charity donations, etc. I always get the gift vouchers and then use them to buy things at the stores that I would normally be spending money on, so this way, it is just like getting cash! happy [RawBill1]

As you have said that when starts to answer to the survey and it would take about 30 minutes to complete , and finally it would say that we are not qualified lol so this is the way of cheating the members adter we have finished entire survey. I belong to about 6 different survey sites and I make money with them. I know what you mean about not always qualifying to take the survey but the ones I do qualify for make some decent money. I made about $6 yesterday as a matter of fact and last month, I made about $25. That's not going to make me rich but it's more than I make with PTC or MyLot for the time involved. I've also gotten free product samples and I got to do a study with Nielson once that I made over $125 for. Those don't come along very often though. Usually, surveys pay $1 to $5 each depending on length. I definitely think they are worth while though. [millertime]

I think I have to laugh a loud because No survey site pays for its workers. They just post the surveys and get the work from us. Some site will work extraordinary and smarter by adding the cents or $$ in your account, but the earned funds will never turn up in your bank account for ever. One such good example is AWSURVEY site. I do surveys occasionally but truth be told I don't like doing them very much. I find them very boring. I hate clicking in all the little squares it drives me nuts. But I am on a couple of sites creationsrewards.com and inboxdollars.com and if you do surveys along with the other stuff you can get to pay out a lot quicker, I don't do them as often as I could but when I am in the mood or am close to pay out I will do a couple here and there to reach it. I have a few online survey programs that I do online that gives me a little extra spending cash. It's nothing to shout from the roof top about that's for sure. I made 35 dollars just from one survey once, which was the most I ever made at one time. It's a pain sometimes to take one and be hoping for the money and I get the I'm sorry speech. I think I do about 5 of these survey programs. One gives me money for referrals, which is about 2 dollars. I don't think it's not bad because you could probably earn more in referrals than you would do in actual survey taking. If you can get a lot of referrals, I would be more than happy to give you the name of the program. I mean 10 dollars in just 5 referrals alone.
